It seems like the height of hypocrisy for people to expect their manufactured pop icons to actually be real artists. It's like going to Disneyland and getting pissed because there is a man inside the Mickey Mouse costume. It is what it is. Get over it.

Once you can accept things as they are, you can appreciate the Ashlee Simpsons of the world. After all, the requisite talent of many pop stars is the ability to act the part. She definitely can do that.

I have issues with her dark haired persona. I think she is way cuter as a blond. I understand her wanting to differentiate herself from her sister, but still... the entire dark look doesn't really work for me.
